We had an interesting last day in Poland. We only made it to Warsaw in time to a hotel for the night so we didn't see any of it. It did look vibrant from the cab ride so we'll have to stop in next trip.
Instead we visited someone Jake knew as a kid. I can't say anything good so I wouldn't say anything at all, instead, ask one of us personally and we'll fill you in when we get back. Don't worry, it's nothing bad on our part. The only good thing about that day was Jake got to chase a toad by a pond.
One of the train stations in Poland. They don't have escalators, this was not fun with two suitcases.
And then we made it to Paris!!
This is our hotel entrance in Paris.
View out the window.
View of the street from our window.
First coffee at a Paris cafe. Yes, we paid the surcharge for having it outside.
Dinner at a local restaurant. Delicious and reasonably priced. 500mL of wine was under 5Euro!
We just had enough time to explore the neighbourhood a bit, found a great park with a lake.
Til tomorrow!
